In order for this process to turn into a perfect experience, we regularly monitor, measure and report the satisfaction of our customers through mechanisms such as perception surveys and satisfaction surveys. SUPPLY PRINCIPLES
As Tan Group, we consider the compliance of our suppliers, which we see as our important business partners in all our companies, with internationally accepted environmental, social and ethical standards and principles among our main responsibilities.
When choosing our suppliers, we ensure compliance with Tan Group Procurement Principles (Principles), which we have prepared in the light of all applicable national laws and regulations, especially the International Labor Organization (“ILO”) and United Nations (“UN”) Conventions. We are committed to informing, raising awareness and organizing trainings when deemed necessary in order to ensure compliance of our suppliers with the Principles. At the same time, within the scope of the audit, we expect suppliers to transparently share documents showing compliance with the principles when necessary.
Tan Group Supply Principles cover the purchasing operations of all Tan Group Companies and contain the basic rules of conduct expected from our suppliers. We expect our suppliers to communicate the Principles to their supply chains and to implement the Principles by their suppliers.
PREVENTION OF CHILD LABOR AND FORCED LABOR- Under no circumstances should child labor be employed. Under Article 138 of the International Labor Organization Convention, the minimum working age is 15, and 14 for some developing countries. Employees under the minimum age are included in the definition of child labor.
- Young workers older than the minimum working age should not be hindered in their education and should not be employed in dangerous jobs.
- Work must be voluntary. Employees should not be forced or forced to work.
- No employee should be employed without assurance.
- Payment of debts by labor should not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Gender, age, religion, race, creed, social status, physical structure, ethnicity, nationality, political opinion, sexual orientation, pregnancy, political opinion, union membership or Discrimination for any other reason should not be tolerated.
- Any form of physical abuse or discipline, sexual, verbal or physical harassment and intimidation in the workplace is unacceptable.
- All business dealings should be treated fairly, in accordance with basic moral and human value judgments.
- Employees are paid at least in accordance with the minimum wage, all fringe benefits must comply with the rules determined by laws and regulations, and payments must be made regularly and on time.
- It should be ensured that employees are provided with holidays and vacation days in accordance with laws and regulations and that their working hours comply with the regulations.
- The right to join, be a member, be represented in trade unions and participate in workers' councils as determined by local law must be respected.
- A healthy, hygienic and safe work environment should be provided to employees.
- Necessary measures should be taken to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases, and occupational health and safety training should be given to employees regularly to raise awareness.
